This Hydraulic Oil Seal Installation Twist Tool enables the quick and easy insertion of hydraulic seals and O-Rings found deep within hand pallet truck hydraulic pump units that are tricky to fit by hand. This tool makes the seal a smaller size than the gland hole by turning seal into an omega shape that can avoid damaging the seal/ pump unit.
This is the LENGTHENED – SMALL seal size version enables seals to be fitted into long pump units such as the BT L2000/ L23/ LHM230, Crown PTH & PTH50 etc.
Dimensions: Length: 180mm For Small for rod diameters 22-40mm (0.87″ – 1.57″ ROD) gland hole 8mm cross section max (typically found in pallet trucks)
Warning: Gland hole must be in the range of the sizes as below, otherwise the twistor or pump unit can be damaged permanently.
Instructions:
1. Place the seal on the “claw”, with two claws on the inner of the seal and one on the outside.
2. Keep the seal flat with one hand when turning the handle with the other to compress the seal into an “omega” shape.
3. Keep pressure on the handles to keep the seal in an “omega” shape.
4. Place seal in required position within the pump unit.
5. Release a handle gently to expand the seal in position.
6. Once seal is in position, slowly remove the tool from the gland hole.

Medium for rod diameters 40-70MM (1.57″ – 2.75″ ROD) gland hole, 12mm cross section max
Large for rod diameters 70-165MM (2.75″ – 6.49″ ROD) gland hole, 14mm cross section max
We use Royal Mail for all UK deliveries including Northern Ireland. We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 12 noon on the same day, excluding weekends and bank and public holidays. Orders placed after 12 noon will be dispatched the following day. The delivery lead-time commences from the day of dispatch.

STANDARD (Royal Mail Tracked 48) Aims to deliver in two to three working days.
EXPRESS (Royal Mail Tracked 24) Aims to deliver in one to two working days.
These services require a signature at time of delivery.

Any cancellations, returns and refunds are at our discretion, except for faulty or defective products. In order to proceed with your request, please contact us at info@whall.co.uk, indicating your order number and the reason for return. Please contact us before returning any product.
To cancel your purchase, you must notify us before the order is shipped or within 14 days of delivery. Any request beyond this timeframe will not be taken into account.
Should your return/refund request be accepted, and products already delivered, they must be returned in their original and unused condition within 14 days from the cancellation. You’ll be accountable for the return postage and packaging costs. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Restocking fees or penalties for damage/mishandling may be deducted from the refund amount.
